I met a fantastic photographer called Matt Schwartz at a flea market in Brooklyn while I was in NY. While I usually don’t spend money on art/photos I instantly fell in love with his work. Polaroids that are torn apart and mixed with water colours. I’m no technical whiz at the old photog business but have spoken to friends who assure me that this is a pretty complicated process. But the result is absolutely wonderful! Described by some as “walking into a memory”, Matt’s images have been used in Daily Candy, Nerve and Nylon. I bought the two above but am determined to build a collection that includes my other favourites below and many more….
