This Saturday The George Bernard Shaw pub play host to another weird and wonderful Toe Jam carboot sale. An old-skool idea revived by the Bodytonic lads with the help of Leah Burke and Chewy it‘s become an attraction for the style elite in Dublin. While it was a trade secret for the first few the last time I went the place was jammed (pardon the pun!). Falafel, cupcakes, homemade lemonade and plenty of beer-it’s the perfect way to spend a Saturday and pick up an outfit for the night ahead in the process.

It’s a relatively small venue with stalls and cars selling all sorts of colourful and crazy things. After-all, “one persons trash is another persons treasure” so you’re guaranteed to find something amazing amid the mounds. I especially love the vintage threads and managed to get myself a cool pair of studded black boots last time which I’ve lived in since.

The place gets busy quickly so get there after brunch-kick off is at 12pm. Fingers crossed the rain will stay away and we can all grab a beer, a bargain and a good old banter!
